About me

Hey, I’m Chloe

I’m an integrative therapist that means I combine several different therapeutic approaches including Transactional Analysis (TA) Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) Internal Family Systems techniques (IFS) and Creative Therapy. I understand that therapy is not a one size fits all, I believe that we are made up of various different beliefs, attitudes, facades and emotions and figuring out our ‘authentic’ self can be tricky meaning we often fall into familiar patterns of behaviour and often end up on autopilot saying yes when we want to say no, supressing our true thoughts and feelings, shutting ourselves down to keep the peace and ultimately facing internal battles alone.

My priority in our sessions together is to provide a safe space and a voice to YOU to help you navigate your way through your challenges and better understand why you think the way you think feel the way you feel and behave the way you behave. Each session is unique just like us. Sometimes our work together may lead more in to a coaching style of therapy clients have found this to be of benefit once a relationship has been established and seek more guidance and solution focused approaches.

I also come from a background of holistic practices and currently work within the health and social care sector. Through both of these backgrounds I have been exposed to what some would call unpalatable moments in life, and I do not shy away from complex and challenging life events. I feel both humbled and privileged to hold space for vulnerability.
